There will be $6000 in prize money and the break down for every event is

1st-$240, 2nd-$120, 3rd-$80, 4th-$60, 5th-14th-$10
Day 1 events

1- Viking Press

DAY 2 EVENTS

1- Harness Truck Pull
2- Dead lift
3- Max Log Press
4- Super Yoke
5- Medley
The events will be

1- Viking press 300lbs reps 90sec
2- Max log press starts at 250lbsx20lbs each time

3- Super yoke 800lbs 75ft
4- Timber walk 700lbs 75ft

5- Harness truck pull no rope 18,000lbs
6- Arm over arm truck pull

7- Dead Lift involving Giant Pumpkin
8- Viking Squat 650lbs reps 90sec

9-  Tire flip or medley
10-  Atlas stones 7 stones 1 platform 6'6''-3'6''
                                                                Rules for all events:

1- VIKING PRESS

Competitors must be standing directly  under the bar with feet side by side, no staggered  stance.
When pressing the competitor must be fully locked at the elbows and elbow selves  will not be
allowed. Competitor must also wait for the referee's count.
Once the competitor releases  the weight they can not re pick and go again. This is one pick only.
The competitor will have 75sec to complete all reps.

2- TIMBER WALK

Competitors must pick up and carry 700lbs 75ft in 75sec with no straps or tacky  you can drop it as
much as you like if the competitor does not finish a measurement will be taken.

3- VIKING SQUAT

This will be set at one level and left, the weight will be 650lbs. There will be a line on the floor  that
part of the competitors foot must be touching, you must go deep enough for the log to touch the
tire. If you do not touch the rep will not count, and again you must weight for the referee's count at
the top.  The rep will not count if the competitor is not standing straight after each lift. You will have
75sec to complete all reps.

4- ARM OVER ARM

This will be an approx 20,000lb pull competitors will have 75sec to pull this truck 75ft, No tacky
allowed.

5- ATLAS STONES

Competitors will have 2min to complete 7 stones the weights are 210lbs 235lbs 255lbs 280lbs
310lbs 350lbs 400lbs. The platforms start at 6'6'' and decrease 6'' at a time. If by some chance the
1st stone breaks then if you can load the 2nd stone all will be given the same fastest time for the 1st
stone. For example if 5 competitors do the 1st stone with the fastest time being 5sec, than if the
stone breaks everyone that does the 2nd stone will have 5sec added for the first stone.
If any competitor fails to get any stones than that competitor will receive 0 points.

6-TRUCK PULL

this will be a 18,000lb harness only pull. Competitors will have 75sec to complete 75ft. There is no
tacky allowed on footwear. This will be a head to head event.

7- DEADLIFT

This will be a heavy lift , competitors will have 75 sec to complete as many full lock out lifts as
possible. Again competitor must be fully locked out and weight for the referee's count. Straps are
allowed.

8- MAX LOG PRESS

competitors will have 30 sec to complete each lift. The log will start at 250lbs and go up 20lbs with
each lift . Competitors must do all weights until they are out. Each lift will be timed to prevent ties.
If a competitor looses control of the log at any time then there lift is done. The competitor can do
what ever they like to get the lockout , but they must be locked out and feet side by side with
complete control. Elbow selves and straps will not be allowed.

9-SUPER YOKE

The yoke will be 800lbs, Competitors have 75sec to complete 75ft. The Competitors will not be
allowed to slide the yoke. It will up to the referee to add what ever distance slid to the end of the
race. Meaning that if you slide the yoke a total of 5 feet in 75foot course than the Competitor will be
made to go an extra 5 feet past the finish before their time will stop. This will be a head to head
event the quickest time will win. If you do not finish than a measurement will be taken.

10- MEDLEY

Undecided at this time.

The point system will be, the winner of each event will get 14 points and if any competitor is unable
to press, lift or pull any object than that competitor will get 0points

ACSA CUP FINAL   
Atlantic Giant strongman Competition               
October 7-8th 2006 the first ever Atlantic Canadian Cup final. The 14 strongest men in Atlantic
Canada will be chosen for this huge competition to decide who is ACSA's  Strongest Man
2006.

After a long season these will be the guys that will be fighting for the title.
