The key to having a huge log press starts with the cling. Once you develop a good cling
you will be able to press more weight. First you want to chalk your hands and chest; to
avoid any slipping. Then take a grip on the log and make sure that your hands are tilted
forward while holding the log. Now pick the log waist high and then squat down and pull
the log tight to your lower chest; keeping hands tilted forward. Finally as you stand up
make sure the log stays tightly to you, and when you get about half the way up pull your
hands toward your body; this will create a roll which will really help.

The press depends on the person but if you really use the legs to drive, it will be much
easier. The best way to practice the press is to start light and keep moving up
concentrating on driving with the legs. The biggest thing is to get the log off your chest
as quick as you can and having really strong triceps helps.
